South African Edition of Kangaroo Maths - 2022

The Kangaroo Maths Competition is the world's largest competition. South African learners can participate free of charge from 19 September to 31 October 2022. There are twelve levels of participation, ranging from grade 1 to grade 12. There are 24 questions for grades 1-4 and 30 questions for grades 5-12. Grades 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 etc write the same paper. The 75-minute multiple-choice questions are fun and playful, and are less reliant on the maths syllabus.

Teachers can invigilate the event (i.e. where a school enters the participants and they write online at the school) or learners can participate independently (i.e the un-invigilated version of the event - where a learner enters and writes the test as an individual online at his/her home). Both events will take place from 19 September until 31 October.
