Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) invited me to attend a workshop Readyto go
entitled “The annual Clinic on Meaningful Modelling of
Epidemiological data (MMED)” where I learned about solving real-
life problems such as the spread of infectious diseases through the where no
application of mathematics. It opened my eyes to a far wider range
of career options with mathematics as a base. Realizing that
mathematics was the father of all STEM (Science, Technology, bank has
Engineering and Mathematics) careers, I continued with my studies
at Stellenbosch University, graduating with my BSc Honours in
Biomathematics in 2009 and MSc Degree in Biomathematics in 2012. gone before?
