Western Province Triumphs in ASSA South African Mathematics Team Competition 2024

The South African Mathematics Foundation (SAMF) proudly announces the results of the ASSA South African Mathematics Team Competition 2024, showcasing the nation's top mathematical talent from junior and senior levels.

This prestigious competition, aimed at nurturing mathematical excellence among South African learners identified through the South African Mathematics Olympiad (SAMO) and other SAMF Olympiad programmes, saw participation from 43 junior and 42 senior teams representing 19 regions nationwide. Teams comprising 10 learners each faced rigorous challenges, including a one-hour individual paper and collaborative problem-solving rounds.
